Well, this is a little awkward now. haha. The site is still closing but I just found out that I’ve paid enough to keep it up until February 9th. So, that’s THE final date. The time has come, guys… After almost 5 long years, I’m done with Paramore.org/ParamoreForums.net. The site’s been possibly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I wouldn’t trade it for the world but it’s time to let go of this. I’m sorry if anyone feels let down by this announcement. That’s the last thing I want. I know I made a lot of promises but I just don’t feel as though I care enough about the band to follow through on those promises, let alone pay money every month for something I’m no longer passionate about. I’m not going to be handing the site over to anyone. It’s going to be closing. I know that’s selfish of me and, again, I’m sorry if anyone feels let down but after, yeah, nearly 5 years I think it’s time to move on. I don’t have much else to say except that the site will officially be closing it’s doors on the 16th of January. Everyone has until then to do what they feel they need to do with the site haha. We still have a crapload of videos/audios on the server so if there’s anything you know that you’re specifically in need of you can request that here and I will dig around and see if I can find it for you. It’s been really, really great, guys. Feel free to leave your MSN/AIM/Skype names in your reply if you’d like to keep in touch. |

The timetables for 2010’s Soundwave festival have been released. Head to the Soundwave website and look up your city. Paramore plays… Melbourne tickets have sold out, but every other city still has tickets available. Purchase from the Soundwave website or Ticketek. |

I can’t really say this better than the folks at Paramore.net have already said: The merch left over from Paramore’s fall tour with Paper Route and The Swellers is now available in the webstore! If you weren’t able to make it out to the show or didn’t get a chance to pick something up, now is your chance. But hurry! Some of the items are only available in a few sizes. Also, there are now two styles of the Varsity Jacket – the original and the Junior Varsity version. Both are the same design but the colors are slightly different. Paramore have announced (via MySpace) that they will be playing a show in Singapore on the 7th of March. This is exciting news, as they have never been to Singapore before! Looks like the band is really trying to reach out to all their fans that they haven’t visited yet. |

Design companies Synapse and Midnight Morning Inc. have joined up to design a snazzy new Paramore tee with lyrics from Brick By Boring Brick. For a band with a reputation for not-as-attractive-as-it-should-be merch, I’m liking this design. Or that could just be cause I love Synapse.
